Thanksgiving with the Joneses

Thanksgiving is always celebrated early with the Jones family. We have to do it early because someone (named Sean) always signs his team up for the Soccer Tournament down in St George. The first game is early Friday morning, so we have to leave the day before, which is Thanksgiving Day.

It has actually been this way from day 1. I am not sure Sean, or his brothers, ever spent a Thanksgiving day at home growing up. At least we don't have to go as far as Las Vegas anymore.

Here are Grandma and Grandpa Peel enjoying the Thanksgiving feast.

Katie's birthday is coming up this Saturday, so we celebrated her birthday with her favorite cake - Snickerdoodle. (Notice Mike in the background - he loves to get his picture taken!)

I am not sure how Sean ended up on the floor. He will pretty much do anything to get the nieces and nephews to play with him.

Christian couldn't get enough ice cream!

Courtney and her goofy Uncle -- No, she didn't get glasses, those are Mike's, but she sure looks cute in them!

We had a great time, it is so fun to get together with family around the holidays.

O.k Julie I just made the most exciting discovery!! I grew up in the same neighborhood as Robyn and Jeremy. Robyn was one of my best friends growing up!
This is so crazy. You will have to be sure and tell her that Jana (Hill) said to tell her HELLO!
By the way I am super excited about working with you for girls camp! You are awesome.

It was a fun time for all the family. We are thankful that we were able to be there. We are sooooooo glad Sean chose you to be such a special part of our family.
We love you!!

Wow. I can't believe it is the same Jana. It shows you what a small world it really is.

I can't remember celebrating Thanksgiving on Thanksgiving day from the time the boys started playing competition soccer. For some reason Thanksgiving dinner at Circus Circus just isn't the same. But hey, it worked and we always got a second celebration.

Thanks again for arranging everything. It was so much fun.

It looks like such a good time. I'm sorry to have missed it. It looks as though I can't send Mike out anymore without a guardian. I knew this day was coming, but it's just hard to admit that his photo behavior has deteriorated to this level.
